“Applications, Innovations and Advances in EMI Shielding Gaskets And Materials”
Our Speaker: Mr. Mark Hansen is a 1988 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA, and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree with High Honors in Mechanical Engineering. He has worked for General Electric Corporation for their Power Delivery and Controls Division at their Transformer Business Division; Meter and Control Business Division; and Lighting Systems Division. He has also served as the Regional Sales And Applications Engineer for W. S. Shamban and Company, Polymer Technologies Group, which specialized in high performance thermoplastic compounding and molding for sealing and bearing applications. Since joining Vanguard in 1992, he has served as the Applications and Sales Engineer and, subsequently, Product Manager for their EMI Shielding Division, where he has worked to develop and promote their patented Ultra-Vanshield® Dual Elastomer EMI/RFI Shielding Gasket line, their Vanshield® Homogeneous EMI/RFI Shielding Gasket line, and their Vantherm® Elastomeric Thermal Transfer product. He currently serves as Sales and Marketing Manager for Vanguard’s General Rubber Goods and their Shielding and Thermal Composites Division.
