The sixth monthly meeting of 2003 of the Dallas IEEE/EMC Society was held at NTS, Plano, Texas, on September 16th, 2003. Pizza and soft drinks were provided by NTS. Bob Shoffstall, NTS, handled arrangements for the refreshments. The subject of the meeting was Over-Voltage and Over-Current Regulartory Requirements, presented by Mr. Phillip Havens, Product Engineer, Teccor Electronics, Irving, Texas. There were 30 attendees, 21 IEEE members and 9 non-IEEE attendees, including 9 new attendees. Door prizes, either a golf shirt or a book bag, were won by Nathan Belcher, Lee Choi, William Lumpkins, John Schroeder, Joe Stanfield, Bob Stevens, Jeff Tregre, Oscar Tovar and Dennis Dettman. Refreshments were served from 6 until 7 PM. The meeting started about 7 PM and adjourned about 9:00 PM. |
